RARITY: 6.5/10
PRICE: 200 USD loose / 600 up to 900 USD boxed not mint / 2500 USD and more if boxed/ unused/ mint
C-109 Stepper is a remold and recolor of Jazz, originally released as a Japanese exclusive toy by Takara in 1987 as part of the Headmaster toy line.
Interestingly, this character never made an appearance in the anime series but did feature in domestic comics, much like his counterpart Artfire, who is a recolor of Inferno.
The toy is packaged in a compact rectangular box, nestled within a styrofoam holder.
It includes a Targetmaster companion but no other weapons.I am pleased to say that my Stepper is in mint condition, unused, and complete with a bio-card, instructions, stickers, and warranty. The stickers are particularly noteworthy, printed in a stunning gold color that complements the toy's black and white color scheme superbly.
Takara-Tomy officially reissued this figure in 2004, but there are discernible differences between the Vintage and the reissue versions. For instance, you can identify variances in the toy itself, such as the presence of black screws, as well as distinctions in the Targetmaster's mold, particularly in the waist section. While some may consider it rare and elusive, I'd venture to say it's simply quite expensive.
